Throughout Derek’s career, he has worked to improve the lives of his clients, both Institutional and Private Wealth. With more than 25 years of industry experience in portfolio management and client-facing account service, Derek is adept at helping new clients find their right fit at CornerCap. He recognizes that every client’s story is different and uses that knowledge to act as your liaison and advocate when you join CornerCap. As the first point of contact for many clients, Derek has a passion for being proactively helpful to ease the transition. Derek is an active runner, hiker, and lover of the outdoors, and can often be found on the Atlanta BeltLine or backpacking/camping at various wilderness areas throughout the country.
